Hey — we're glad you found us. Whether someone dragged you here or you stumbled across us on your own, you're not an accident. The Gathering was built for people exactly like you — people who are curious, skeptical, searching, or just looking for somewhere they actually belong.
Pastor Deon Alexander planted this church in 2017 with one vision: a church that actually looks like the block it's on. That means you'll walk in and see faces from every background, hear music that crosses cultures, and encounter preaching that doesn't flinch from the hard stuff. People tell us all the time, 'I've never heard it said like that before, and I needed it.' We hope you feel the same way.
We meet Sundays at 11 AM and 6 PM at 245 Myrtle Avenue. Come as you are — seriously. We can't wait to meet you.

Your First Visit
Come exactly as you are. On any given Sunday at The Gathering you'll see everything from sneakers and hoodies to blazers and heels — Brooklyn does what Brooklyn wants. There's no dress code here, just come.
We've got your little ones covered. Kids check in at our welcome desk when you arrive, and our team will walk you through everything — it's safe, fun, and age-appropriate. You get to focus on the service knowing they're in good hands.
Expect worship that's urban, eclectic, and genuinely moving — music that crosses cultures and lands somewhere real. After worship, Pastor Deon or one of our teachers brings a message that's honest, grounded, and built for where you actually live.
Services at The Gathering run about 75 to 90 minutes. We start on time and we don't drag it out — every minute is intentional.
